What is Adobe Creative Cloud?
Adobe Creative Cloud is an assortment of applications and services created by Adobe that is ideal for photography,
videography, design, and PDF creation. There are over 20 applications included in the Creative Cloud in addition to various
mobile apps, templates, cloud services, assets, and tutorials.
How do I access Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop?
1. The Patchogue-Medford School District has pre-installed the Adobe Creative Cloud App Manager on both Teachers'
and Students' Windows 10 Devices. Start by opening the Adobe Creative Cloud Manager.
2. The Patchogue-Medford School District provides free Adobe Creative Cloud accounts to all teachers and students
in grades six and above. Please enter your full pmschools email address in the Email Address field and click
"Continue" to proceed. Please do not login by clicking on the Gmail, Facebook, or Apple links.
3. On the first login to Adobe Creative Cloud, your Patchogue-Medford Office 365 credentials are verified via the
Microsoft Office 365 web page. Please enter your password and click "Sign In" to continue. If you do not know
your Patchogue-Medford Office 365 credentials or have difficulty with login, please visit your school's Librarian for
assistance. Please do not use the "Forgot My Password" link.
4. Congratulations! You have login successfully to Adobe Creative Cloud. You can start to explore the suite's
assortment of applications. All tasks, such as viewing a PDF, editing a photo, or creating a web page, can be done
directly on your device by installing a Desktop app. If you wish not to install a Desktop app on your device, you
can access the app through the Web via Google Chrome Web Browser. ***Please Note: For advance features,
such as PDF Forms creation, please install the Desktop app
5. After you Install and Open a Desktop app such as Adobe Acrobat, the app opens outside the Adobe Creative
Cloud Manager. The app is the full feature version with no limitations. You can perform a variety of tasks, such
as creating a Fillable PDF Form.
6. After clicking on "Web," click "Lunch" of the app of your choice to open the App in Google Chrome.
7. Once you lunch a web-based app, you may start to use the features of that app Immediately. In the example
below, I have launched Adobe Acrobat, which opened in Google Chrome Web Browser. You can open a PDF
from your computer, or a PDF was shared with you, or Export a PDF to a different file format such as Microsoft
Word.
