Information on Applying for Apostille in Singapore

The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) is responsible for issuing

Apostilles onto the public documents executed in Singapore. The relevant

procedures are as follows:

1. Submit an online request at https://legalisation.sal.sg/.

2. Make payment online by Visa or MasterCard; then an Email

Confirmation with the Invoice will be sent to the registered email address.

3. Visit the Singapore Academy of Law from 9:00am to 4:30pm,

Mondays to Fridays, to have the public document affixed with an

Apostille (Adrress: 1 Coleman Street, #08-06 The Adelphi, Singapore

179803, Tel: 63324388).

For the public documents issued by Singapore government, such as

marriage certificates, birth certificates, court documents, notarised

documents etc., applicants can directly follow the above procedures. For

the private documents issued in Singapore, such as declarations, letters of

attorney etc., applicants need to go to a Notary Public for notarisation

before applying for an Apostille.
