Appointment choices
Arcadia University went “hard waiver” which implies that all full time
students must have health insurance.
• Beginning July 1
st
, 2018 Arcadia University will be automatically
enrolling all full time students with United Healthcare Insurance at
a cost of $1699.00 for 12 months.
• To have this charge removed, students must enter the United
Healthcare website. They need their name, DOB, and ID number
and either “waive out” by putting their own health insurance in the
system or “enrolling”.
• They will receive an email confirmation.
• This information does NOT transfer over to SHS’s electronic medical
records. This is a separate data collection process run by United
Healthcare.
• SHS asks all students to annually update their insurance
information.
• It takes 7-10 business days to see the charge removed from the
tuition bill.
