LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Baja Designs proudly offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY against manufacturer’s defect on all the products
that we manufacture.
These are comprehensive warranties; other than the exclusions below you’re covered. If your LED
or HID bulb burns out, you’re covered. Additionally, cutting off our connector or changing your lenses
does not automatically void your warranty.
Exclusions:
Installation errors, abuse, misuse or crash damage. You must be the original owner of the product and
can supply proof of purchase.
Baja Designs manufactures its own products as well as resells products manufactured by others. Baja
Designs makes no express or implied warranties on products not manufactured by Baja Designs
including without limitation any warranties or merchantability and fitness for a purpose. We will,
however, pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer, who has sole responsibility for performing
such warranties.
Baja Designs will pay the freight if your product is less than 90 days old, otherwise defective products
must be returned to Baja Designs, Inc., freight prepaid. At our option, we will repair or replace items in
question and return them at no charge. If the identical product is no longer available, we will replace
with a similar product of equal value. Baja Designs Inc. will not be responsible for any indirect or
consequential damages in connection with defective merchandise.
Items purchased through a Baja Designs authorized dealer must be returned through the dealer. Only
available on LED auxiliary lights and product must be in sellable condition at MSRP. Product that has
been damaged in any way after the original purchase date will be excluded from this guarantee.
Indemnification:
Buyer hereby acknowledges off-roading, racing and driving at night are dangerous activities
and that the products and/or supplies purchased from Baja Designs are used in an inherently
dangerous activity that may endanger life and limb; and in no event shall the seller, or seller's
heirs and assigns, be held liable for consequential damages, nor shall seller's liability on any
claim for damages arising out of or connected with the sale, delivery, or use of purchased
products and/or supplies exceed the purchase price of the products and/or supplies

Tools Required:
- 10mm Socket and extension
- Flat head and Trim tool
- ¾” Step drill (Required)
S2:
- 9/16” Wrench and Socket
- 4mm Allen Wrench
S1:
- 7/16” Wrench and Socket
- 3mm Allen Wrench
1. Locate the hole through the receiver hitch.
(above the receiver pin holes and closer to the
bumper)
2. Assemble the two L-brackets onto either side of
the receiver hitch using the provided hardware.
3. Place the mounting hardware into the standard
light brackets before mounting to the lights.
Assemble each Squadron (or S1) to their
standard bracket using the 4mm Allen wrench (or
3mm Allen wrench). Mount the assemblies to the
L-brackets with the 9/16 (or 7/16) wrench and
socket.
4. Attach the small splitter harness to the power
cords and route the wires behind the plastic
bumper on the driver side. (Make sure to tie the
harness away from the muffler near the towing
electrical connector). Attach the extension
harness and route it over the lower driver side
control arm. Take the main harness light lead
and route it from the inside the engine
compartment, down the driver side firewall, and
connect it to the extension harness.

5. Attach harness leads to each power cords and
route along the upper firewall. Use the
provided wire ties to fasten the harness to the
plastic inner wiper cowling.
6. To route the switch through the firewall, the
battery will need to be removed. First, remove
the intake ducting from above the radiator by
prying the two arrowed plastic fasteners with
the trim tool.
7. Remove the circled connector on the air
cleaner cover and the two arrowed clips
attaching the harness. Using a flathead
screwdriver, remove the intake air boot clamp.
Pull up on the air cleaner box to remove and
set aside.
8. Loosen the circled battery clamp fasteners with
the 10mm socket with the extension. Remove
the battery terminals (+/-) with the 10mm
socket and place them aside; black lead first.
Now the battery can be slid forward and
removed for the moment. Remove the arrowed
firewall grommet and route the harness switch
lead through. Pull enough slack in from inside
the cab to reach the headlight controls.

9. Carefully use the trim tool inside the cab to
remove the panel to the left of the headlight
controls.
10. Carefully pull the edges of the headlight
control dash panel until the clips release.
Remove the arrowed headlight control unit
connector.
11. With the ¾” step drill bit, drill a hole in the
circled area shown. Take a quick photo of the
switch wire orientation, remove the switch
wires from the switch, route through the hole,
reconnect, and mount the switch. Plug the
headlight module back in and replace the dash
panels.
12. Install the battery and repeat steps 6-8 in
reverse order, this time attaching the positive
battery terminal first and then the ground
terminal. Mount the relay to the bolt on the strut
tower as shown in the image.
Re-torque all the fasteners after 100 miles.
Tie wires away from all hot, sharp, and/or rotating
components.
