PGY1 PHARMACY RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Tandem Health is a Federally Qualified
Health Center (FQHC) and accredited
patient-centered medical home (PCMH).
Our services include adult medicine, family
medicine, pediatric medicine, behavioral
health, OB/GYN, immunology,
community/outpatient pharmacies, and a
family medicine residency program.
University of South Carolina College of
Pharmacy is in the heart of USC’s campus,
one block from the student union, university
library, and historic USC Horseshoe.
Partnership with this institution allows
residents to experience teaching,
precepting, research, and mentoring as a
means of giving back to the profession of
pharmacy.
Sumter is located right in the heart
of South Carolina, approximately
40 miles from our state capital,
Columbia, SC. Residents have the
best of both worlds as they are
tucked between the beaches, the
mountains, and nearby lakes. The
rapidly growing downtown area
includes amazing local restaurants
and a brewery.
