Dear Parents,

Warm Greetings

It is our pleasure to welcome you to The Garden International School. We are glad to have you with us as a

part of our school family.

As the mercury soars, its time for the school to close for the summer vacations. I hope our children enjoyed

their first few days of the new session, as much as we enjoyed knowing them. There were some

administrative difficulties initially, but we could overcome them with your support and cooperation.

First things first, it is very very important for all of us to see our children remain healthy and well hydrated

all through the sweltering summers. Gastrics and Heat Strokes must be prevented at all costs by observing

the necessary precautions. Since summers are synonymous with a variety of fruits, do ensure that children

have a variety of fruits so that their immunity is further strengthened with various vitamins and minerals that

the fruits contain.

Its time for children to engage in sports and pursuing their hobbies. Children must also be encouraged to

engage in reading and learning music. To that extent ,all parents must provide the necessary guidance and

support to their children.

However, its not going to be only fun and games during the vacations. Learning must also go side by side.

Therefore all children have been given certain assignments in various subjects along with clear instructions.

It is the duty of the parents to ensure that their children complete their vacation assignment as per the

instructions and submit the same to their class teacher. All assignments will be graded, so you are kindly

requested to motivate your child to complete the assignments neatly and submit it on time. These

assignments are also designed to help them to prepare for the Formative Assessments to be conducted after

the vacation.

Please consider the following instructions regarding holiday homework, projects and assignments:

1. All homework, projects and assignments should be submitted just after the summer vacation.

2. Parents are advised to encourage their ward to complete the holiday home by themselves. Students

can take guidance from family members and they should complete by themselves.

3. It is important to complete the homework on daily basis, this will help the students to recall the

recent taught topics.

4. Parents are advised to engage their wards in certain hobbies of their choices.

Let’s make this period a fruitful and happy period for them.

The school shall remain closed for summer vacation from 10
