Riverhead High School Evening Program
Is a “New” specialized High School Evening
Program which will provide a unique,
alternative opportunity for students to learn,
achieve, and reach a level of academic
success necessary to meet the NYS
Standards for graduation from Riverhead
High School.
Riverhead High School Evening Program
Riverhead Evening Program will provide select
students with a more intimate academic
setting, increased support, personalized
guidance, and a non-traditional environment.
The Riverhead Evening Program is a
“graduation-focused” high school program,
built within a 3-night per-week, college-styled
schedule.

Level I: 2019 & 2020 Cohorts
* Students who are technically within reach of Graduation in June of 23
* Impacting the Graduation Rate for 2023
• Students with 15 or more of the 22 required credits
• Students who passed or earned 3 or more New York State
Regent’s Exam Exemptions
o Algebra I, Earth Science, Living Environment, Global History, US
History, ELA, Geometry
Level II: Expansion Beyond Graduation Cohorts
* Students who are technically within reach of Graduation in August of
23, December of 23, June of 24, and August of 24.

An Alternative Opportunity to Graduation…
The Blended Learning Experience
Students enrolled in the evening program receive their
education through a combination of Direct Instruction,
as well as, Guided Practice, and Support, while they
navigate coursework and lessons through
Odysseyware.
The School Counselor and Social Worker are
embedded into the Evening Program to provide
additional support academically, socially, and
emotionally, to ensure student success.
