Purpose:

The United States District Court – District of New Jersey is seeking qualified vendors for

the external move of office furniture from the Frank Lautenberg Post Office & U.S. Courthouse,

Newark, NJ 07102 to the Mitchell H. Cohen U.S. Courthouse, 4

& Cooper Street, Camden, NJ

08101. The United States District Court – District of New Jersey is also seeking qualified

vendors for the external move of office furniture from the Mitchell H. Cohen U.S. Courthouse,

& Cooper Street, Camden, NJ 08101 to the Frank Lautenberg Post Office & U.S.

Courthouse, Newark, NJ 07102.

Statement of Work (SOW):

Phase 1

• The contractor will move all designated office furniture including, boxes, and office

furniture from the 4

floor of the Frank Lautenberg Post Office & U.S. Courthouse to the

floor empty courtroom of the Mitchell H. Cohen U.S. Courthouse.

• All designated items being moved are listed in the enclosures section.

Phase 2

• The contractor will move all designated office furniture including, boxes, and office

furniture from the 6

floor of the Mitchell H. Cohen U.S. Courthouse to the 4

floor of the

Frank Lautenberg Post Office & U.S. Courthouse. Additionally, contractor will move

empty bookshelves and remaining furniture in chambers from the 6

chambers space to

the 5

floor empty courtroom within the Mitchell H. Cohen U.S. Courthouse.

• All designated items being moved are listed in the enclosures section.

Schedule of Performance:

• Date TBD; must be amenable to Court's availability. Required date

range between: May 20, 2024 – May 23, 2024 (Weekend availability

if needed)

• Access to building available between 8:00am - 4:00pm

Special Notes:

1. Interested vendors can schedule a walkthrough/site-visits prior to May 15

submittal

deadline by contacting and coordinating with project point-of-contacts.

2. A fixed price award from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest priced,

technically acceptable offer.

3. To be considered, please provide an all-inclusive written proposal to

[email protected] no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15,

2024.

4. For Camden Courthouse, loading dock can accommodate a max vehicle size of 26’.

Items to be moved from the Frank Lautenberg Post Office & Courthouse

Judge’s office.

Two lamps, two lounge chairs, one sofa, one coffee table, one u-shape desk, seven guest chairs, one task

chair, one lectern, and eight pieces of wall art. (see photos below).

Reception room.

One height adjustable L-shape desk, one storage wardrobe, two guest chairs, and three pieces of wall

art. See photos below.

Law Clerk room.

Two height-adjustable L-shape desks with mounted overhead cabinets, two wardrobe/storage units,

eight guest chairs, two task chairs, one round table, four tackboards, 4 pieces of wall art, and one free

standing bookcase. See photos below.

Kitchen / Conference Room

One round table, five guest chairs, one conference table, twelve conference chairs, two side tables, one

credenza, and one mounted white board. See photos below.

CAMDEN ENCLOSURES:
